Dave Keating, Jr. and Msgr. Lyons, back row, presented the Family of the Year to the family of Troy and Mary Martz. Their sons Joe and John were unable to attend. The Family of the Year Award this year goes to a Family that has its footprint in almost every aspect of our parish, organizations, and community. Here’s a list of some of them: Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, Altar Servers Leadership in the Home Schooling Group St. Joe’s Pro Life Committee Member 40 Days for Life Committee Member That Man is You Program Emmaus Breakfast Bible Study Group Catholic Bible Study Group for Prisons Scripture and Adult Religious Courses Chaperoning and Volunteering at Delone Catholic HS Volunteering for parish functions and fundraising Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society Joseph served and graduated from the Merchant Marines and is in the Naval Reserve John picked the religious life and currently is a Seminarian And the list goes on... Hanover Council 871 recently held their annual Family and Awards Picnic at St. Joseph Pavilion. Several awards were presented to distinguished guests by Deputy Grand Knight, Dave Keating, Jr. Top left Dan Ernst, Top middle Dick Arigo right, received their Honorary Life Membership Awards from DGK Dave Keating, Jr.Top right Pat Bria, received his 25 Year Member Award, while on the Bottom left Msgr. Lyons and Dave Keating Jr. present Will Smith with the esteemed Knight of the Year Award
